Hello , I've been taking the yasmin pill , and normally I'm good at taking it everyday, after I had my break and period I started my second pack and missed 2 days then took 3 at one time to catch up, now I've been having a light period whilst still taking the pill, is this normal? Will it stop the pill from working? And what shall I do, shall I carry on my pack then have a 7 day break then start the new pack as usual? And also when I do have my 7 day break will I have another period like normal even though I've been having a very light one this month whilst taking it?

You took 3 at one time??
But missing two days is most likely what is causing the spotting. The pills have lost a lot of their effect for this month and you need to keep taking them properly for one more month for them to be properly protecting you.

They are not 100 percent effective when taken correctly and get less and less effective if not taken correctly
