Received notice on a Saturday and Monday was a national holiday . When do the days start counting?

In NY it's 3 days, holidays and weekend days don't matter. Served on Saturday, out in 72 hours.

I don't know what jurisdiction you're in, but normally it would go like this:

Saturday - you were served.
Sunday - first day.
Monday - second day
Tuesday - third day. Your time is up.

In other words, intervening Sundays and holidays don't extend the period unless, perhaps, the last day falls on a Sunday or holiday.

Weekend and holidays do not matter, your day out will be Tuesday. What holiday was Monday?
