Hi, I'm really worried about my 6 year old Siberian husky , Lady. I just brought a new puppy and ever since Lady has stopped eating. She will eat cheese and chicken but refuses to eat her biscuits. She is not normally a quiet dog and has always had a good appetite. It has been 1 day now, should I be worried and take her to the vet or is she just acting odd because of the new puppy?
Please help, I don't know what I'd do without her :(

I have cats, so stick around for some expert dog responses. My guess is that she is put off and jealous because of this new little intruder. Be sure you give her lots of love and attention, to the point where you almost ignore the new pup. Even tell her stories about how she came into your life and how much you treasure her. This is what works with cats and children. :)
