    Annulment
A friends husband came home while she was working packed up all his and his sons (from former marrage) things and left. She got home and had no idea what to do. This was almost a year ago, and still no contact. They were married for about 2 years, can she get an annulment of marriage?

What State and what are her grounds for annulment - an annulment means there was a legal impediment to a legal marriage.

Nothing you have said indicates that.

Divorce, of course, is an option.

Yes an annulment usually means something about the marriage was illegal. Your friend should file immediately for divorce citing abandonment as grounds.
