My boyfriend lives in London and needs to renew his passport. He was born in France, but lived in Portugal for nearly twenty years so has a Portuguese passport. He has been to the Portuguese embassy several times and they said he needs to send papers from there over to London for this to happen. Is there not a way to get an emergency passport? He desperately needs to get back home to see an ill relative. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
