My boyfriend is 44 and I am 42. He is very snuggly and loving and says he wants me sexually but on average we only have sex once a week, and only because I initiate. I am used to having sex at least two or three times a week and this is just not enough for me. I know I am a desirable woman. I get admiring looks from men wherever I go and I groom myself well and keep in relatively good shape. I guess I feel like I just don't do it for him though he says I do. I don't think I can stick around if I have to beg for sex.

Have you tried telling him what you've told us?

There could be many reasons.

Once is week for a working person, perhaps with stress and the such not really out of the question as fairly normal. Some have it less. Some more.

You need to discuss this with him, but unless there are other issues, once a week may be fine for him.
