Knocking under my car while coasting in a 2005 chevy cavalier
While driving and I come to slow down at a coasting speed, it starts to knock. When I put on my brake I don't hear it. Back brakes were repaired. Front brakes and bearins were checked all good. The noise seems to be on the driverside because I also feel the noise under my feet..

Check all your lugnuts and make sure they are tight... ASAP.

And if Smoothy's suggestion isn't the problem, make sure the brake caliper is properly attached.

Something is wrong with this picture. I would get a second opinion on the brakes and wheel bearings. Take it to your local Chevy dealer--they will get it right.

Sometimes a brake caliper will not hold the disc pads against the rotor causing a knocking or rattling sound. It may show up if you slightly apply the brakes(just your foot on the pedal will do it).I would have the calipers checks at decent mechanic,, no Monroe Muffler or AAMCO!!
