I'm thinking about getting tragus piercing for weeks, but I can't decide if I really want, because I'm afraid of hurt. How does it hurt for you?

The actual piercing process does not hurt because there are little to no nerve endings in the area. I just had mine pierced on Jan 16th. The day I got the piercing I felt no pain. However, for about 2 weeks after I got the piercing, I experienced some pain in the area after cleaning and some mild swelling. I was at a point where I thought I should take it out, but I spoke with someone else who told me the same thing happened to them and it was fine. You are not supposed to turn the piercing after cleaning and I was doing this which caused the swelling. Now for about a week my ear has been fine and I turn it with no pain or discomfort. You also can't sleep on your side when you get it so if you're a side sleeper you should only get one at a time.
