Where is voltage regulator located on 1989 dodge daytona
The voltage regulator is in the engine computer.
In most cases, the voltage regulator is internally mounted in the alternator. I woulds take the alternator out and have it checked OR have the car running and idling over 1000 rpm and check the voltage at the battery terminals. If it is 12. Volts or less, it's either the VR or alternator. If it is over 14.5 volts , it is a bad regulator and the alternator will need to be rebuilt or replaced,
Not the case, Handyman, on this vehicle.
That cannot be determined without know what engine is in it. Moist came with 2.4 turbo but not all of them.
