Developed red scaly flaky rash on right side of my neck,several weeks before christmas now spreading under my chin,it has got longer too,also one oval patch on upper chest.been using cannestan cream from doctors for two weeks,no improvement at all in fact its spread.very unsighly and sometimes itchy.he suggested fungal infection?

Could be, or a subcutaneous bacterial infection.

I would see a doctor about this.
