I am in a relationship for the last 10 years. His parent gave us a green light for our relationship, but my parents are not agreeing. His uncle is a common friend. He came 6 or 7 times and tried to explain to my parents, but no positive response from them.

I have tried for the last 4 to 6 months but nothing is working. I have tried 100%. What should I do? Would it be right to register marriage against my parents wishes?

If you have been in this relationship for TEN years, certainly you are an adult and old enough to make your own decisions about whom to marry. Yes?

No there is no caste difference.. everythng is perfect.. the boy and his family background is also very good.. the boy is well settled

My parents are not giving any reason for saying no.. they only think that doing love marriage is wrong..

You may have to proceed without them as they may never agree for a love marriage. Hard to believe they have let his go on for 10 years though. They have met and talked with him have they NOT?

Why did your father want your uncle to talk with him?

I forced my parents to meet my boyfriend.. they did not want to go so they told my uncle to meet him.. my parents even told that they are ready to meet my boyfriend's parents.. but then they did not go.. I am not understanding what they want.. sometimes they say yes sometimes no
