Can I put my wife out due to her alcoholism?
My wife is an alcoholic and I have had to move my daughter and I out the house as I can't watch her slowly kill herself anymore and don't want my 14 year old daughter seeing it anymore as she has crucial years coming up at school. My daughter is staying with my sister in law and I have moved into my parents house although in the other side of the city. I have put in to the council for a flat but I am wondering why we should be uprooted when its my wife that is the one causing it all. Mortgage is in both our names.

No you can't. Not even if she fails to contribute to the mortgage.
Get together an intervention of family and friends.

Agree with Joy - OR you can ask an Attorney how to get back into your house legally. Why is your daughter not with you? At the moment she's "lost" both parents.

I'm going to see my lawyer next week. My sister in law does not have room for both of us and not acceptable for me to be sleeping in the same bed. Therefore I'm staying at my parents but its too far away from my daughters school. I see your point as she has lost both parents but I still see her every night and take her out at weekends.

We have tried everything. All of my family and friends have tried to help her. Managed to get her to AA meeting but she still doesn't believe she is an alcoholic even though she says she is and told the doctor she is.
