Live in fl to work remotely in ma how about Unemployment insurance
I live in Florida full-time and work remotely for a company in MA. If I get laid off what state do I collect from? How should my company be filing their unemployment insurance?

This is NOT a tax question, but rather a technical employment LAW question best transferred to the Law Forum.

I spoke with the MA Department of Revenue and they said that if I've given my residence up in MA that I no longer need to pay income tax to them and that I would be collecting unemployment in MA. In that case, the company still files it UI forms and pays unemployment insurance for me.
    Thanks anyway.
