Windows/7 "Startup Repair"
About 1/3 of the time when I normally shutdown my Windows/7 PC a small black screen with words on it very briefly appears. When ever this occurs, the very next time I boot up my PC I am shown the Startup Repair process.
After Startup Repair runs I am given the name of the mini dump, the PC appears to boot up OK, and Norton Internet Security states that it requires updates.
The 2nd time I boot up the PC about 2000 updates applied (they look like registry type updates).
How can I find out what is running at shutdown?
Is there any way to shutdown with some type of delay (like Windows/XP)?
Thanks.
