    Electric motor phase
    I have a 7.5 horsepower electric motor,230/460 volts19.3/9.6 1745 rpm. How can I determine what phase it would be by visually looking at it

    A 460V motor would typically only be 3-phase. Also, the amperage for your 7.5hp motor is in line with 3-phase.
