I am at home taking care of my elderly mom. My judge gave me 6 months home confinement and 300 hours of community service a yeat for 3 years. I am currently working and have no time to take mom to doctors, grocery etc. Do I need to find a way to file a motion with the judge or can I simply write him a letter and include a letter from her oncologist and her medical history. Any help would be greatly appreciated

It's only about 4 hours a week, if you did it like that.. If you let it stack up, then it's a lot more daunting...

Look. If it were ME, I'd let you slide.. But, I can't imagine ANY judge doing it. Nonetheless, writing a CERTIFIED letter to the judge with copies to the prosecutor AND the PO should get a ruling.

Meanwhile, I'd do SOME community service to show your good will. Hopefully, you HAVE done some.. But, I'll bet not.
