I'm a girl as well and I went over her house last night for a sleepover and I asked her if she ever kissed a girl and she said yeah and then she said have you and I said no. I don’t mind trying it though and I started laughing and she did too. Then she said do you want to try it. And I said I don’t mind and she said OK.

So we just leaned in and kissed each other for like a second or little longer. But then we kissed again then we started laughing and it was nice. And then she said do you want to snog? And I said I don’t mind. And she said OK and we snogged for like 20 seconds. And then she said tongues? And I was like mhm OK. And we tongued but it weren’t that bad.

BUT we're both straight? It’s a little fun we were bored but good to get that out!

Well, because I do not think this scenario is likely to happen involving straight girls. It has become kind of a popular thing now for girls to kiss each other in front of boys or around their friends to be "cool" or because they know it feeds a boy's fantasies, but truly straight girls are not comfortable in this situation.

It sounds like some guy is having a little sleepover/pillow fight, two sexy young girls kiss for the first time fantasy and trying it out here.

It reminds me of a commedy movie that came out a number of years ago - can't remember the name of it. There's a scene in it in which a bunch of high school girls are all getting showered and dressed and walking around and doing their hair and makeup in a locker room, and they are all walking around and doing their hair, etc. topless. As I watched it I thought, "girls don't do that. They would all have their bras on at least or be wrapped in towels - girls don't walk around naked among their friends - they might change in front of their friends but won't stay naked for a moment longer than necessary." In the movie, the joke was that they stopped the scene and someone comes on and says just that and it gets a big laugh.

I do know there are girls who make out with each other but this would be a pretty weird scene for straight girls.

It does happen and will happen sometimes though, so you can't always think 'oh that's a 42 year old man' because it's not likely to happen? Well it does, some people are comfortable doing that alone. About the movie girls do undress and be naked in front of their friends if they don't have any body issues or stuff, we're the same gender so why not? I'm a girl so I should know, I don't know if you're a boy or girl but it is kind of normal now for girls to kiss alone.. even if they're straight.. they want to experience it.

You're both young and it seems like you two were just experimenting which is NORMAL in the adolescent years. Trying to put a label on your sexual identity will complicate things.
