How does this work? Accounts my mother owned.
If my mother has a bank account that is in her name and my sisters and my sister is not letting either my brother or myself know any information what can I do.

I moved your post to a thread of its own to avoid confusion.

Can you please explain a little more about your situation and what has gone on? Has your mother passed or has she taken ill and your sister has taken over?

If the account was held jointly with right of survivorship, then The sister is a full owner of the account. She can do with the account as she pleases. If your mother passed, then she is now the sole owner of the account.

Sister does not have to tell you anything about an account, it is not yours, it is hers.

If OP is personal representative of the mother's estate, OP can engage in discovery to find out about the account: whether it was a survivorship account, what was paid in from whom and out to whom, etc.
