I think I ovulated aroung the 25th or 26th of dec. My last period was dec.9th to the16th. I expected this period to start on jan.8th or 9th. Well starting jan5th I've been lightly bleeding when I go to the bathroom and wipe. I notice very few drops dripping into the toilet and very few drops on a pad. So its been 7 days now of lightly spotting and my af hasn't started up. I expected a heavy flow for my period and that isn't happening. If my period was due on the 9th then I would be 3 days late but have been having spotting for 76 days. What could I be experiencing, could implantation spotting last for this long? I have taken 2 test and both were negative. Im planning on testing on sun. Jan13 but what if I'm still spotting then can I test? I know a lot of women don't see or experience implantation spotting but I've also heard some women have light bleeding all through their pregnancies and some have had it for a week. Any advice or input would be great thanks.

You are testing way to early, you need to wait till at least the 19 and really the 23 to test.
10 days to 2 weeks after due date.

Doing it before that, gives a better chance for false negative.

Also test first thing in the morning as soon as you wake up.

Also some women miss a period, or just have light spotting some times, so this is only one possible reason
