    Please help me!!
Hi all, I am very worried that I may have got someone pregnant, I slbooept with her on 30th September 2012 and ejaculated inside her. She never said anything to me about being pregnant, but yesterday (10th January 2013) on Facebook she put a 12 week baby scan picture up that she had done on that day (10th jan) and the baby is due on 28th July 2013, I rang her and she said not to worry as it's not mine because she says the dates were too early. But I don't know whether to believe her as she's in her late 30's and I believe she wanted a baby, she is also in an on and off relationship. Can someone please tell me going by the dates taking everything into consideration if there's any chance of the baby being mine? Even a small chance? She also said she had a period just after we slept together, so she came on apparently on 1st to 2nd of October. Please help as I'm not eating or sleeping and it's driving me mad.

The only way to know is to have a DNA test after the child is born.

Thanks, going by the dates though, is it likely to be mine?

We can't use dates that you sketch with her. We could only use her last monthly period and it would still require a DNA test.

I recommend you tootle putative father registry for your location. If your location has one it would be in your best interests to sign up.

Ok I was just thinking from the date we had sex would be 10 calender months from conceiving, and thought that it would more than likely not be mine.

I'm sorry. I wish I had better news for you, but a DNA test is the only way to go.

Ok thanks, just spoke to her again and it's definitely not mine, I got mixed up, the date of her last period was 19th October.

If getting someone pregnant worries you so much, then why are you risking it? Keep your pants on.

Of course she could be lying about the date of last period, and some women have a period, or have a light period on the last period when pregnant,

I believe that the dates are close enough, esp since "scans" are only good at plus or minus one to two weeks.

So yes in my opinion it is close enough to worry and I would ask for a DNA test when the child is born just to be sure.

Maybe the time to worry about this in the future is the time you should be putting on a condom...
