Can child support enforcement be sued
In North Carolina, a scale is used to calculate how much child support can be ordered to pay. They can deviate from scale if they feel you can make more than you do. That being said, I have made on average 1200 to 1400 a month all my life. I have been being charged 380 for CS which scales out to 2200 a month. I can prove that I have only made what I have made with 7 years of tax returns. Can I sue them for a wrongful deviation? One more bit of info... I just moved here from California (2months)and any time I ask previous, they said I have to file a motion in court and there is no way to handle outside of the state.
