    No tile in my shower??
We moved into a house that has no tile or fiberglass on the walls in our shower. It doesn't feel like normal paint and we have lived here 3 years with no major problems. (Yet) It looks a little gross and dingy no matter what I use to clean it. I want to repaint for the moment until I can put up some tile. Any suggestions for types of paint? Or suggestions knowing that I plan to tile in the near future? I just can't look at it the way it is one more day. Thanks

I would suggest a MARLITE board for this application (see image). Just use a tile surround adhesive to attach to the existing wall and caulk the edges for a job that can look just like tile if you get a preformed tile marlite board... ;) If you use a corner bead stripping at the corners it should last a long time!

Otherwise, if you still want to paint the walls, check out this link:

    Good luck!
