    Condom allergy?
I am allergic to latex , not highly allergic but I can't wear latex band aids or I get a pinkish rash on wherever it was.. Could that happen with condoms too?

Bandaides aren't made from latex... the problem there is the adheasive used. Which you can easily be allergic to... as I have get a reaction to certain kinds of aheasive tapes used for bandaging. I however have no problems with latex.

If you're allergic to latex there are other types of condoms out there that you can use. Not all condoms are made of latex.

Just realized that the OP is only 14. No condoms is a good idea, until you're old enough to have sex. You're not old enough right now.

Sex and condoms are way in your future. But you should ask your parents to have you tested for a latex allergy. If you're allergic to latex, it's important that you know about it because there's latex in a lot of different stuff - paint, medical gloves, etc. I'm allergic to latex and have to be very careful. For example, I had oral surgery and they forgot about it and used a latex shield - like a sheet of latex - around my tooth, which went over part of my face - nearly killed me. Really bad reaction.

First unless tested, band aids don't have latex but lots of other items do. It is the largest danger when you go to the doctor or dentist. So please tell your parents and be tested, it is something you need to really know.

But just buy non latex condoms in 4 years when you are old enough to start having sex.
