My power shower has just stopped working properly. When I turn the mixer to the hot setting no water comes out and the pump doesn't switch on but when I turn the mixer to the cold setting the pump comes on and cold water comes out .It was working fine up to last night . I have a automated valve and was wondering if it is the problem?

Sounds like your hot supply may have calcium deposits plugging flow

Yes I checked with a heating supplier and they thought it might be a bit of grit blocking the flow or something to do with the flow meter.
