I want to apply for H1B Visa this year, but also want to go home ( Libya) to visit my family shortly after I apply for it. It is sponsored by a hospital where I got a medical residency position.
For Libyans, any US Visa is one-entry,
And so I can not even re-enter the US with my current F1 as I'm no longer a student.
So, if I decided to go home, how long may it take for me to get the H1B? Will I risk losing the job/ residency offer which starts in July 1, 2013?
