I have a Kenmore dryer - model 110.96281100 which stops mid-cycle or won't start at all. Removing the timing unit revealed a bit of black dirt which I cleaned. It worked fine for about 2-3 days but then went back to same old status - sometimes starting, sometimes not. I'm trying to figure out if I need to replace the timer or the resistor. Any help out there would be appreciated.
