Background:
I am a full time student mentaining F1 Status. I have a pending asylum case with USCIS. My EAD recently expired and renewal is taking more than 90 days. I have taken a month holiday at work until I get my EAD back. But my college does give CPT but my employer is saying I can't work on CPT because I have a pending asylum. I am not eligible for F1 benefits such as CPT with a pending asylum case. I have following questions for you. I know one of the common answer I hear here is that you need to consult with your attorny or hire one. Just help me out. I am not asking for any definite answers.

Q1. Can I still work on CPT if I have a pending asylum and I am I have been mentaining F1 Status?
Q2. Can I apply for OPT after completion of my degree if I have existing EAD (not expired) from pending asylum (reason behind is to continuely mentain my F1 Status)?

Q3. Can I change my status from F1 to H1B while my case is pending or do I need to withdrawal my pending asylum?
