The AC will be blowing air only and does not cool. I have taken it to mechanic who checked all over but could not find any leakage of the gas. He filled gas on it and it was cooling but stopped after a couple of weeks. Can any one advise on what might be wrong

Sounds like your mechanic overlooked a leak somewhere. If he filled it and it worked but then stopped a few weeks later... it's a leak.
