I am 12 days late for my period. I have tested at home and got a negative result. I just had a baby 8 months ago. My periods returned after 3 months. I have had a period every month expected for this month. My cycles are about 37 days long. I had Cramping around the day that my period was due but nothing happen. Is there a chance that I'm pregnant but its not showing up? Or could there be a bigger problem that is making me miss a period.

Of no problem, many women do just miss a period now and then.

When did you take the test ? Did you do it first thing in the morning as soon as you woke up. That is the time to take the test for best results.

If not, opinion, wait and see if next months comes, if not, then check with your doctor

I did not use the first morning urine. I tested the day before my missed period, the day after it was DUE, then about a week later.

Those are still too early. Two weeks late with first morning urine is best.
