There was a movie from the 40's or 50's in black and white with the story line being about a rich playboy whose best friend was is male chauffeur and his other good friend was a female reporter?

There was a flambe scene in the restaurant and this was a comedy but for the life of me, I cannot remember the name of the film OR any of the actor's names.
