If that's the case, then your pressure would leak down to zero given enough time and with the power off. Couple that with a leak somewhere, and you get some air in the wellpipe. In fact, I'd turn off the power for a few hours and see if it holds pressure when no water is being used. I'd bet the pressure is going to drop. If it does, then you have a CV problem or a leaking pipe.
I am thinking old galvanized pipes are starting to open up in a place or two, or the pitless adapter is leaking.
