    Hammer Drill Mode
On the harbor freight hammer drill. I know the hammer symbol means it is in the hammer mode. Question is when you push the button in on your left side is it in the hammer mode or if you press it in on the right side. Confusing

Which mode does it hammer in? It won't do that when you turn it off.

One mode it only rotates like a regular drill... the other it rotates AND hammers. Easy enough to figure out.

There it is laying on the table. The button facing up is the hammer mode should I just push it in. Now on the other side is the drill mode. It is all the same switch button. I guess when you depress the hammer mode in, it should be in that mode?

That would be my best guess... And how other tools I have that use a similar type switching method. Like air Impact tools. Depressing the labeled side puts it in that selected mode.
