    Oil furnace heater!!
    Hello,
The question is about oil furnace which I use to heat up the water for heating system in my house. The system is floor radiant heating and it is old one from 50’s.
The problem is: the furnace heats up the circulated water not fast enough and takes around 1h to get the floor warm.
The question: What can I do to improve the speed of heating the water in the system?
I was thinking about electric water heater and to connect it to the furnace.
If this is a good idea, I don’t know how to connect the electric heater.
Any suggestions or better ideas? And of course, money saving.
Natural gas is not an option.

If it only takes an hour to heat the floor, that is quick. Radiant heat is not noted for being fast. It is, however, noted for its temperature stability & overall comfort from floor to head level.
