How long does parvo attack pup's body?
Can anyone tell me, about how long I have to keep forcing bepto, and gatorade and pedilite, down my puppy, vet put her on stomach pill, and antibiotics. My other dog has fever, vet said to bring her in when she stops eating and drinking.my other dog has had two shots for it , what or chances of her getting it as bad the blue heeler pup? Help please!!

Much of the other dog's chances of getting parvo depend the timing of its shots. Any shots less than 2 weeks before being exposed wouldn't give time to build immunity. If it is another young pup, immunity from its mother could have kept the shots from taking too.

Parvo destroys the lining of the intestines. I guess you have to keep the fluids until it regrows.

For reliable information on parvo, see Canine Parvovirus, What you should know about I know it is a reliable site.

From a PM, ''blue healer made it through parvo, and no sight of it in other two yet , thanks for imformation , few weeks ago.''

I thought I would share the good news with others that care.
