Dryer has never dried clothes in a timely manner.. It take about 2 hours to dry a load of clothes where most dryers do the same in about 1 hour. It there something wrong with my dryer ? Thanks.

Hi gbuchanan and welcome, if the dryer is not properly vented or the vent is plugged up or crushed, drying time will be increased. Try pulling it out, disconnecting the vent, an drying a load and see if it does better. Good luck
