Me and my girlfriend are together for a year now, we love each other so much, she knows my parents, I know hers, she came up to my flat millions of times, I came 2 times in hers. But there is just one conflict between us, on the subject of which parent should call the others parent to arrange a meeting. Now me and my girlfriend are so in love, and after we graduate from university we want to get married, but this subject is just so fustrating as no one of our parents is contacting the other, thinking that the other should call. Now I know the girl's parents should call, as they have to know whose the guy she's going out with, as she's a girl, who is more vulnerable then a boy. And she tells me that my parents should call her parents to come to their house. Please can somebody help me? Who Should Call First, My Parents Or My Girlfriends?

Do you have your own place to live? If so, why don't the two of you have a little get to know each other party there. If not, invite both parents out to lunch together. You and your girlfriend should be the hosts, and pay.

Umm nice answer never tought of that one, but no don't have a place of my own, still 21 living with folks, here in the middle east it's typical to stay with your parents at least your 26. But am talking who should call, which parent should mine or hers, but your answer is pretty cool, and very right I must try it

No parent should call. You are an adult, so you both should invite them someplace to eat. That way, you show them how responsible you both are.
