    This guy is confusing
I met this guy (let's say his name is bob) at work three years ago and we became really playful with each other. I remember the day I went in for an interview he could not stop staring at me. He would always say hi to me and again we would kid around with each other. I then had an opportunity to go to a racing event with bob, my boss and his cousin. When we went to go eat bob sat next to me which was no big deal. Didn't think much of it, but then we started to joke around and it honestly came off as if he were flirting with me. On our way back I noticed how spread out he became but again I didn't think much of it. I also remember I bought this really expensive gift for a friend and at the time being I did not know how bob felt about this person (I will get to this in a bit). In giving this gift people started to assume that I had feelings for this person that I gave the gift to but I did not I was just generous that year. I then started to distance myself from bob (which may have been an error on me) but I did it because I felt that I was taking every small thing and making it mean more then what it really was. I then started to realize that he started to keep a distance. Eventually he quit and I did not see him anymore. During this time I find out that the person I bought the gift for, bob did not like them. Bob's opinion of them was negative. I just came to a conclusion that bob had that opinion before I gave the gift. Later in life bob came back to work for us and this time he did not talk to me unless he had to and he would come off rude at times. But I noticed that when handing something he would always touchy hand when it was not necessary and we would always have an awkwardness towards it. And I know if you do not want to make physical contact with someone you will do almost anything to avoid it from happening. I've tried it on other guys and they keep proving that fact to be true. Bob ended up quitting again. Again I did not see him anymore. Then New Years came up and a group of close friends asked me to come to their house to celebrate the New Years and I did go. Bob was there. The first time I saw bob I said hi and he as well but the way he was looking was as if he was missing something and didn't know what to do... eh I don't know how to describe his expression. During that night I noticed again he would not talk directly to me. We then played a game which involved teams and it came off as if he did not want me on his team. Our team was then kicking his teams but and bob makes a remark saying that he would have no problem if my team won he just did not want me to be the reason we won. Also when he was close to me he would get really close almost like we would try to bump into me. Another thing I realized was how jealous he would become when he saw pictures of me in our friends scrapbook and in our friends bedroom. Bob asked why there where no pictures of him. So in conclusion I want to know what are your thoughts abouth this guy! I believe that he likes me but I also believe that he thinks its not right to have feelings towards me... basically I think he's confused. What do you think?

I think it would be a big mistake to even pursue anything with him... just because of the behaviour patterns you described.

I see a man that probibly has a social awkwardness and tends to be the insanely jealous type and has controlling tendencies...

And my gut isn't wrong very often on things lke this.

Whether this is the same guy at work you had sex with or not, you have built quite a bit on small things you should have ignored, and not even given it a second thought.
