My wife is 5 months pregnant and she just told me that she used evaporated milk to make a hot dish cooked in the oven for us but the problem was that it was 2 months old. I'm very upset at her and that was a very careless move. I want to know can this this take an impact on the baby? She hasn't been sick or anything but I need to be sure

Canned Food doesn't go bad on the date on the can.. that is a best by date... not a discard after date like medications have.

Canned food is in many cases still safe for well over a year past that date.

Two months is nothing to be concerned with.
