Roku and surround sound issue. I hooked up a Roku with HDMI cable into one of the empty HDMI ports on the back of my television (there are 4 ports). I have a cable box and a Denon surround sound system. Everything flows through the sound system, with an HDMI line directly into one of the HDMI television ports.
To use the Roku, I change the input to HDMI 3 (the television is HDMI 1). However, with the cable box on, I am picking up both the surround sound from whatever channel is on the cable box AND Roku sound coming only from the front speaker.
If I shut off the cable box, the sound from Roku is only one speaker.
Is there any way to use Roku through my surround system without a hassle of rewiring? Thanks for help.
