Hello, I cleaned the inlet cold water filter by taking in out and cleaned it with water. Then I checked inside inlet for more trash and it was clean. Returned filter and hose turned on water the washer popped and cold water started to run inside the tub all by itself. Do I have trash inside the inlet valve now or what and how do I fix it? Ps water still run even if I unplug it.

I'm really not sure how to fix it, but I would call someone to take a look, if you have had it for long I wouldn't bother trying to fix it. Maybe someone you know would be good at that stuff to safe you time and money and you could get them to take a look

You have clogged up holes in the diaphragm of the water valve. There are several holes in diaphragm that must be clean. I take them apart and soak in vinegar to dissolve the lime scale.
