Mexico is a foreign country as far as Canada and US are concerned, and no, you will not be allowed if you are on probation. In any case, you will be violating you probation if you travel.

Mexico won't look and doesn't care. Your PO might, though. I'd ask for a travel permit.

What is the crime ? Obviously not a child molester, murder, rape, serious drug crimes with only a year probation. Most likely it is just a misdemeanor, not a felony.

So the crime does make the difference.

Most likely if this is a minor as it think, you should get in, but will have to have permission of your PO to travel
