I also have it on this machine and can email it(I worked for a Deere dealer for a number of years so I have some of the manuals.)

Would be glad to! You do not have your email address in your profile. If you click on my ID("crigby") a dropdown menu will have an email link that should drop into my main account, and will have your return address. You will also see a link to my website which is on belt routing and will contain the official pdf documents from Deere on deck belts including the 1742. Yes , the manual is pdf and is for the S1642, S1742 and S2046.
