I'm 13 years old and today I was almost asleep when it felt like my heart stopped for a second and I gasped through my nose? After that I was fine and when my dad came home from work I 'demonstrated' the gasping through my nose and it felt like something in my chest popped. Its been a few hours and the big pain comes and goes but a dull throbbing stays in the center of my chest. I've been to a cardiologist for previous problems and was diagnosed with Tachycardia I also have really bad anxiety.

If you have a history of tachycardia you should be seen in the ER for this.

I also forgot to include the feeling... The anxiety is making me tell you this. My dad told me that I pulled a muscle and it sort of feels that way. It kind of feels like there's a knot a few of inches below my collarbone. My mom works on the cardiology floor in the hospital (not a nurse or doctor) and she didn't seem extremely concerned about it...

All I can do is advise you to go to the hospital. You are going to have to do what your parents say since they know your history.

I understand thank you! I have a history of overreacting...
