I had to take a EtG test on Friday and am worried that NyQuil that I have been taking will produce a positive result. Anyone with knowledge on this topic?

Yes, it most definitley can.

Nyquil can cause a + EtG. Ethanol is ethanol and it is in Nyquil. However, if you are subject to EtG testing, they should have mentioned products that you must avoid... especially meds that have alcohol in them. It really will depend on how much Nyquil you took and, more importantly, how long after your last dose of Nyquil you took the test.
