My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex 2weeks ago and I took 4Ovrals as directed as an ecp within the 72 hour time frame. My cycle is usually 32 days and its day 28. I'm a bit anxious. Is it OK to try induce my period with parsley tea?

Parsley tea won't induce your period.

You can do all the parsley tea you want, it has no effect on your period.

If you are pregnant, nothing will start your period.

Next the medication if taken as directed and you talked to the doctor, or the druggist or even read the package, you will know that the medication can delay or even cause you to skip this period.

But also depending on how long after, since the medication is less and less effective toward that 72 hours, so if it you took it at 12 hours, it is more effective than 65 hours.

And even taken at 5 hours it is never 100 percent effective.

So yes you had sex, second there was no protection so you could easily be pregnant.

All you can do is wait and see if you have a period or not.

This web page also tells you the percent reduction, still 25 percent chance of pregnancy, using this medication for afterwards. Also it was two pills then two pills 24 hours latter, I assume you took them that way.
