My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant since June, when I got off birth control. I was on birth control for 9 years. Since June until last month, my period was completely normal. Last month and this month, my period has been unusually light and brown colored. Last month it lasted for 2 weeks! I am hoping that this month is not the same, but it's starting brown and light just like last month. I have always been regular with my periods so this is not normal. I have taken 2 pregnancy tests and have no indication that I'm pregnant yet. Could this be my body finally getting rid of all the birth control hormones?
