My 15 year old child is due to be put on probation for a one year time for non violent offense. Unfortunately, I am also preparing to relocate to Wisconsin. I know some states do not take transfers, and wonder how the probation will be handled. Will I have to wait out the probation?

ALL the states work under the interstate compact. So, if your paperwork is right, and they can verify a place to live, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Thank you for the info. Curious, as my cousins son was "released" altogether, when she left Wisconsin and moved out of state. Wondered if because they didn't try to transfer the probation if they wouldn't accept one coming in.
