My boyfriend and I of 6 years broke up 2 years ago because of something he had done. We still were involved and then I started talking to someone else. We reconciled things and recently decided we were going to make things work. We were previously engaged but decided to call things off.

About a month ago we sat down and had a conversation. He stated that he knows I'm his wife but he wants to explore and make sure. I found out two days ago that he has started back talking to his ex (the girl before me) whom we've had a couple of issues with during our relationship. I confronted him about it and his response was "I didnt tell you because it is a messed up situation, I still haven't got over what happened 2 years ago, but I still believe were going to spend the rest of our lives together and I'm still praying about everything."

I'm absolutely confused... what does this mean? What is a girl to do?
