I'm a senior in high school and I play basketball. I have been having a lot of ankle pain for some time and now that season has reached the 1 month mark it is much worse. There is a sharp pain on the inside of my left ankle. When I am working out it doesn't hurt as bad but once I'm done the pain is unbearable and it's difficult to walk. It hurts when I walk on uneven ground or when I'm walking up a hill. At night it aches. When I wake up it aches and even when I rest there is yet again a dull ache. It really hasn't been swollen or bruised at all. There are moments where the pain seems to be absent but that isn't often. Again it's a very sharp exact pain on the inside of my ankle.

So, why haven't you gone to a doctor and had them look at it... all of our crystal balls got recalled by the manufacturer because they weren't working.


That means nobody can diagnose you over the internet. You need to see a doctor in person.

You should see a docter. It could be serious

Do you have other symptoms besides pain? Have you taken anything or done anything to relieve the pain ?

I never asked what's wrong with my ankle as I have never sprained or broken my ankle before. Maybe some one else wrote that.
