I have a 3 month old boxer puppy and I have had her for about 6 weeks. We have tried everything to potty train her but it doesn't seem to work.
At first, she had worms and we were treating her for that, so we expected some extra messes. A friend that is a dog trainer told us try the crate method, but each time we put her in there, she freaked out. The friend told us to get this kong toy and put peanut butter in the holes and give it to her while she is in the crate to help her relax. Well it was the bad peanut butter and we had many messes and vet visits to fix that. She was on antibiotics for a week. So we thought once she got through all of this she would be okay.
She will go outside, but she goes inside soon after. I give her treats when she goes outside. She still freaks when I put her in the crate, so we don't use it consistently.
I don't know what to do? There is 5 of us in our household and we all take her out, but she still goes constantly inside and my carpet is being ruined.
Can someone PLEASE HELP!!
